Local medical files
VisoRay opens DICOM and NIfTI files that you choose from your computer. These files are processed locally for image browsing, measurement, MPR, segmentation overlay, and 3D structure review.
VisoRay does not require an account, and the app does not upload your medical image files to VisoRay servers.
Local records
The app may keep local library information, series records, measurement records, segmentation metadata, and related file paths on your device so the local workspace can be restored.
You remain responsible for the files you import, export, move, delete, or share outside the app.
File access and server use
The desktop app accesses local files only when you choose files or folders through the app or operating system file picker.
Imported DICOM files, NIfTI files, and derived local review records are not stored on VisoRay servers by the app.
The core local viewing workflow does not require sign-in or a server connection.
Retention and control
Local app data remains on your device unless you delete it, remove imported records, uninstall the app, or export/share files yourself.
You can remove local files and local app records using the app or your operating system file management tools.
Children
VisoRay is a medical imaging utility and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy as VisoRay changes. The latest version will be published on this page.
